Over Half Way!

I just realised it has been a few weeks since I wrote an update! It has been a busy month but things are starting to slow down now, looking forward to putting my feet up more and catching up on some much needed sleep. 

My bestie got married 2 days ago, and I had the privilege of being her Matron Of Honour 👯. It was such a beautiful day and I loved getting dressed up and celebrating with everyone

My bump truly popped in the last week and I am loving watching it grow. We have nicknamed Bub – she is lovingly known as “Kung Fu Panda” as she is kicking her little heart out in there! The kicks are becoming stronger and I reckon Adam will be able to feel them within the next few days from the outside.

Bump shots for our pregnancy journal

Since the beginning of August I haven’t had a spare weekend. We celebrated my 30th Birthday on 9/8/16. 

Today (Monday 22/8) we are 21Weeks & 2 days pregnant. We were due to fly out to Bali tonight but have cancelled due to Zika risk, instead – we are off to Mount Hotham this weekend so that hubby can enjoy some time on the slopes with mates whilst I rest up and watch movies in our room. 

I am still sick every single morning and projectile vomit 1Litre of water before I stop. I have my morning routine down pat but am starting to wonder if it will end… Or am I one of the lucky ones that is sick until the very end…..

Sleeping is becoming a struggle as I am tossing and turning during the night trying to get comfortable. I have tried pregnancy pillow etc but no real relief being offered.

Our cot arrived last week and I cried when I saw it set up in her room. It was such a surreal moment. It’s like that was the moment it truly hit me that we are having a baby!

I have absolutely gone nuts when it comes to shopping for our little miss 🙈 she has an extensive Country Road Wardrobe & Shoe Collection Already. 

Anyway, just wanted to check in to update that all is going perfectly. Bubs is measuring as she should be. Our next appointment with our Obstetrician is in about 3 weeks. With our next scan (28W) being in October.
